Thanks for dancing (online) with us! 💕

We just wanted to give a big shout out to all of our amazing dance families who have stuck with us during our current lockdown.

Seeing all those darling faces in class reminds us that dance is important not just for our dancers, but for us as well! It reminds of why we do this and the joy it brings to our lives being able to share the love of dance.

Participation in our online classes has been very high across the board. We have missed a few faces but hope you will try out the link sent out to see what we have been up to.

If your dancer has tried, but is feeling frustrated with virtual classes, please know we do feel their pain. Zoom has made it possible to keep moving until we are able to be together in person, but is not perfect. From spotty internet to imperfect dance space, we’ve experienced challenges too.

We will teaching on Zoom until we move back to Level Orange. When that time comes, we will post the good news on all of our social platforms as well as our website. In the meantime, if you have misplaced your email with the link to your dancer's class(es), please email the studio at faygleesondance@gmail.com, or DM us on Facebook and we will send it out to you.

Until then we look forward to your continued support and seeing all those smiles that brighten up our Saturdays

COVID-19 Update: February 17, 2021

Saturday morning classes will remain virtual (for now)

After much consideration we have decided to keep teaching our Saturday morning classes online.

Public health guidelines for the Red Zone limit the number of dancers and family members that can be in the building. With so many of our young dancers doing back-to-back classes, and families with more than one dancer joining us each week, our options were limited. So, while we’re excited to meet in person again soon, we believe this is the best and safest option for our dance family.

We hope that the consistency of keeping classes online for now will make it less confusing for you and your dancer. You can continue to use the same link to access their Zoom classes! (Just send us an email at faygleesondance@gmail.com if you need that link again.)

We know this has been difficult for our dancers and we share your disappointment that we cannot return to the studio this week as we had hoped. But we’re so thankful that we can still see all of their smiling faces every Saturday morning!

COVID-19 Update: January 11, 2021

Due to the extended COVID-19 lockdown, we will not be able to re-open this week as planned.

Classes will resume via Zoom, beginning Saturday, January 16th.

You will receive an email link from your teacher, and it should be in your inbox no later than 2 days before class. If you have not received an email within 24 hours of your scheduled class time, please reach out to us via email at faygleesondance@gmail.com

So start looking for a dance space that will give your dancer some room (and give you some quiet time!). We recognize that space is the hard part so all classes will be geared to a smaller spaces. We can all agree this is not the best, but it is what we need to do to keep moving forward. And if nothing else, it will break up really boring weeks!

We understand that you might be disappointed, but we must follow the guideline and we know you as parents would not want it any other way. Your dancer's safety and health is always our first priority as they are very special to us as well.

Happy holidays FGDC family!

We were hoping to return the week of January 4th, but given the new Ontario lockdown, classes will not resume until the week of the 11th.

If there are any changes we will post here on our website, as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
